WCI Construction is a paving and concrete pouring company in Ottawa. WebMarketers were approached to create a site that will help them build brand awareness and trust with their potential clients.
This project posed the unique challenge of trying to capture the diverse set of job sites and work to populate the whole site with unique content. We also needed to work on a creative strategy that would adapt well to their fast-growing business.
We knew this website needed to deliver a memorable experience that was unique and filled with trust-building assets. In collaboration with Phantom Productions, we set out to curate photo and video content that showcased a first-class customer experience.
To decrease direct advertising costs, we needed to focus on a conversion-optimized approach. Our strategy also included improving SEO performance for long-term success through writing unique, high-quality content for each of their services.
The approach our design team took for the website was a more playful look and feel that still maintained a professional stance. Using a mixture of serif and sans serif fonts to create a unique visual experience for clients.
The website layouts relied heavily on the visual assets taken by Phantom Productions to showcase the work done by WCI rather than having walls of text like many competitors tend to favour.
Once our website designs were perfected, our team began working on developing the custom WordPress website. To ensure we maintained a good site speed score, we used a third-party video host to display the video banner on the homepage.
We created a site structure that favoured the direction WCI was taking their business. Since our team would be running Google Ad campaigns, we made sure the site structure also took this into consideration.
Our team integrated a live chat feature for paving quotes to help increase conversion rates.
