WebMarketers is a growing digital marketing company with a centrally located, state of the art office in the World Exchange Plaza. We work with a variety of small and medium-sized businesses helping them with lead generation & e-commerce. As a team, we work together to identify and execute on the right strategies that help our clients grow their businesses. We are looking to expand our team with a technical writer! A qualified candidate should be excited by the challenge of researching, planning and implementing content marketing campaigns and marketing reports. Ideally, you’re a confident and numbers-oriented person with a strong work ethic and an ability to work creatively with a team of intermediate level marketers similar to yourself. Your role will involve developing and writing reports, government applications, research papers, white papers, website content, scripts and more for our clients across dozens of industries.

COMPENSATION
$50k – $55k

Your skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 2 years of experience as a Back-end developer
  • Strong understanding of web development process
  • 2 years of experience with Wordpress or other CMS framework
  • 2 years of experience with programming languages such as PHP, Node, Python
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Working knowledge of git / version control
  • Docker / Containerization- not required but would be considered an asset
  • Strong written skills for technical and creative applications
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Strong understanding of how content ties into other digital marketing channels
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console & Google Ads
  • Proven ability to research and write high-quality content for a variety of industries
  • Previous use of WordPress and Shopify
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a team
