Capital Choice Counselling Group is an Ottawa business that matches clients searching for a therapist to one of their local professionals that specializes in providing the type of therapy that each new client needs. With over 30 counsellors across the Ottawa area, the Capital Choice Counselling team has specialists in all different methodologies, counselling types and office locations.
Capital Choice approached WebMarketers mid-November of 2014, shortly after having their 120 page website redesigned by another agency. They were looking to generate more business leads from their new website, which was a substantial investment to help grow their business.
The month before Capital Choice began working with WebMarketers, they had generated 50 leads from their website, while spending a total of $2,214 on a Google Adwords campaign that had generated 17 conversions for an average cost per conversion of $130.24. Their average organic Google ranking for their 10 main keywords was initially 38 (bottom of 4th page).
WebMarketers began with an on-page overhaul, optimizing all 120 pages of content. This included adding proper H1’s, H2’s, titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags and on-page keyword density. These initial changes were also the backbone of restructuring their Adwords campaign, which helped increase quality scores, click through rates, while reducing their cost per click.
In order to increase user-friendlieness, WebMarketers used on-page heatmaps to replace weak content and added new call to action forms in prominent locations. Lastly, micro-sites were created for their niche services, helping capture multiple first page organic search positions, as well as increasing Adwords quality scores, resulting in more leads!
