Q & A with Colby
What are some of your hobbies?
In his free time, Colby enjoys staying active when he can, spending quality time with friends and family, and coaching youth football and rock climbing. Music is still one of his greatest passions and he spends a lot of his time searching for music from around the world that he can mix with his DJ equipment for a creative outlet. When he really wants to kick back, he’ll play video games or watch the latest releases on Netflix.
What are some places you’ve travelled or lived in?
I’ve only ever lived in Bowmanville and Mississauga, but I’ve travelled to all sorts of places in North America. I’ve been to Prince Edward Island, Halifax, Quebec City, Montreal, Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, and Riviera Maya in Mexico. I want to travel to the Okanagan area in BC, Scotland, and Argentina in the future.
Where would somebody typically find you on a weekend?
I can usually be found at home, but I could also be seen out and about trying to take in some nature, at a rock climbing gym, or spending time with friends and family doing whatever we think is fun.
What are some other sports & activities you enjoy?
I enjoy camping, swimming, and hiking. I was also on the swim team and baseball team for a year in high school and still enjoy those activities to this day.
What’s your favourite beverage?
Nothing beats a good scotch. Neat or on the rocks, it doesn’t matter to me.
